LISBON -- A Lisbon resident allegedly put a toxic substance in the food of another person during a domestic incident with the intent of making the victim ill, according to St. Lawrence Country sheriff's deputies.
Hillary D. Vandyke-Restifo, 26, was charged Thursday with third-degree attempted assault, officers said.
Vandyke-Restifo was arraigned in Canton court and released under the supervision of probation, deputies said.
