OGDENSBURG -- Three sports mergers with Lisbon Central School District were approved by the Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education at Monday’s meeting.
The two school districts will merge for the upcoming boys varsity hockey season as well as the spring 2019 boys modified and varsity lacrosse seasons.
According to the Section X combined teams applications included in the meeting’s agenda packet, Lisbon expects three student athletes to join Ogdensburg Free Academy’s hockey team.
The applications also noted that 10 Lisbon Central student athletes are interested in joining OFA’s lacrosse teams at both the modified and varsity levels when the spring sports season begins.
