FOWLER – A Lisbon man previously jailed on multiple fraud charges has now been arrested for allegedly stealing $1,770 worth of vehicle parts, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Anthony J. Jock, 31, of 36 Glebe Rd., Lisbon, was charged Sunday with fourth degree grand larceny, a felony, for stealing parts and tools from Harmer’s Garage in Fowler, deputies said.
He is currently being held in St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility following his arrest earlier this month for first-degree scheming to defraud, a felony. The arrest followed an investigation into reports that, during September, he defrauded at least 10 people, out of a total of nearly $2,000, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies.
Last week, he was cited on an additional charge for allegedly taking $1,155 from a Massena resident to do auto body work and never completing it, according to deputies.
