LISBON – A Lisbon man was jailed on $25,000 bail for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine at his Taggart Road home, according to a state police Narcotics Enforcement Unit.
Terry P. Pitts, 37, of 217A Taggart Road, was charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of a hypodermic instrument.
The narcotics unit was acting on reports of a possible meth lab. Upon investigation the troopers Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team discovered “evidence of an inactive one pot meth lab.”
Pitts was charged at the scene and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional facility on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
Ogdensburg Police Department and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
Pitts will answer the charges in Morristown Town Court.
