LISBON -- A Lisbon man was charged with stalking Monday after allegedly following a victim across several roads and different towns, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Arthur J. Parmeter Jr., 46, was charged with fourth-degree stalking, deputies said.
The alleged victim was followed for several miles and they made several attempts to get away from Parmeter, officers said.
Parmeter was arraigned in Hammond court and released on his own recognizance to appear in court at a later date.
An order of protection was issued in favor of the victim.
