CANTON — A Lisbon man was charged Wednesday after offering a false instrument for filing to the St. Lawrence County Clerk’s Office when filling out a pistol permit application, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Kevin J. Bishop, 58, was charged with second-degree offering a false instrument for filing, officers said.
The incident reportedly took place April 5.
Bishop was issued a ticket and released.
