LISBON -- Lisbon Central School District recently appointed Scott Walker as a new Board of Education member for a five-year term.
Todd McKee ran on the ballot unopposed for the vacant seat, but later declined the position. Scott Walker received the most write-in votes on May 16, and therefore is the new appointee.
“We are confident that Scott Walker will serve the District well in his capacity as Board of Education member,” said Superintendent Patrick Farrand.
Lisbon voters also approved a $12.9 million budget with a tax levy increase of 2.1 during the May 16 vote.
