Light snow will overspread the North Country through the morning hours today and continue through at least midday before tapering off during the afternoon. High will be in the mid-teens to lower 20s.
Snow accumulations will range from around an inch near the St. Lawrence River to around three inches at higher elevations.
High pressure builds into the region tonight for colder and drier weather with temperatures dropping into the single digits above and below zero.
Sunny and dry weather is expected on Tuesday.
Today: Light snow, mainly before noon. High near 19. Wind chill values as low as -5. Northeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
