A low pressure system will remain over the North Country through the weekend and into next week, bringing with it light snow flurries, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will begin to increase toward normal spring levels, the service said.

Snow will likely continue through Friday before transitioning to sun and clouds, the service predicted.

Highs will likely reach into the low 30s this weekend.
