A cold front moving through the North Country will likely bring light rain showers, with more expected Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow showers may be possible in higher elevations Friday, the service said, but high pressure is likely to bring dry weather Saturday.

The dry weather will likely be “short-live,” with another system to sweep light rain and snow into the area Saturday night or Sunday, the service said.
