Less than half of the first quarter campaign donations received by Congresswoman Elise Stefanik came from inside the district she represents.
Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who represents St. Lawrence and 11 other counties, raised $330,000 in the first quarter of the year.
A total of 520 donations came from within New York state. Of that, 242 came from within the district.
Stefanik’s re-election campaign received donations from all 12 counties in New York’s 21st Congressional District.
She now has more than $1.1 million cash on hand.
“I’m grateful for the outpouring of support across the North Country and across our state for our re-election campaign,” Stefanik said. “I’m particularly proud that over 70 percent of our donations were under $200, demonstrating our strong grassroots support for our campaign to make Washington work for North Country small business owners, our veterans, our farmers, and for our families.”
