POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital recently received get-well cards for patients from Lawrence Avenue Elementary School second graders.
The students made the cards as part of a national anti-bullying movement focusing on acts of kindness.
Accompanied by teacher Carrie Livernois, students Breanna Buffham, Jackson Greer, Owen Lovely, Willow Acres, Camilla Roche and Kayden McGaheran presented cards to patients.
All second graders participated in the “Kindness Matters” card-making event and made more than 100 cards with teachers Jennifer Herrick, Courtney McGowan, Heather Parker, Jennifer Saber and Carrie Livernois.
