POTSDAM — The Kiwanis Club of Potsdam cleaned up debris and trash along the road from the Price Chopper parking lot along State Highway 56 on May 21.

Volunteer works picked up trash from the parking lot to just past TJ Toyota.

Helping with cleanup efforts were Club President Marcy Adams, Past President and Divisional Past Lt. Governor Marylee Ballou along with volunteers Cody Johnson and Keith Juda.

Henry Walters removed shoppers discarded trash and cigarette butts from the base parking lot and served as shuttling service for the road clean-up crew.

Bottles of cold water and fresh baked muffins were donated by Price Chopper.
