Kiwanis Club cleans up highway with help from Key Club and B99.3; 27 bags of trash removed

Participants from Key Club included Tanya Sala, Lacey Mattot, Danny Clark, Clare Brownell, Ella Dudek, Isabelle Foisy, Cara O'Brien, Courtney DiTullio, Nolan Dow, Gavin Garry, Doug Miller and Gavin Brower. Participants from Bee 99.3 included Tammy and Jordan Lamica and John Winter. Kiwanis members included Henry Walters, Susan Barrett, Marylee Ballou, Tim Virgil and Carla Ingram.

POTSDAM -- The Kiwanis Club of Potsdam highway clean-up project was held on Route 56 Saturday, April 18. The group started from the Price Chopper Parking Lot and went North to Pleasant Valley Road. Tom Moore, General Manager of Price Chopper, donated refreshments and water to the clean-up crew.

Hard Hats and safety vests provided by the highway dept.

The group removed 23 bags of trash.

The Potsdam Kiwanis Club will host a mid-spring Kiwanis breakfast at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St., in the multi-purpose room Saturday, April 25 from 7 until 11 a.m. See story.
