Kinney Drugs will have seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics throughout the North Country in cooperation with Maxim Healthcare Services this month and early next month.

Most insurance cards are accepted. Medicare Part B participants should bring Medicare cards that indicate “Medical Insurance.” Those with Medicare Part B who are not members of a Medicare replacement program will receive a flu shot with no co-pay. Medicare will also pay for a pneumonia shot with no co-pay for those who have never received one before, or have not had a pneumonia vaccination in the last five years, or the first shot was given before age 65 and the participant is now over 65.

Kinney pharmacists will be on site to counsel patients on seasonal flu precautions and over the counter medications. Information can also be obtained through the web site at www.kinneydrugs.com.
