POTSDAM -- For the second year in a row, the students at A. A. Kingston Middle School took part in raising money and awareness for the American Heart Association.
The students learned about heart disease and how to be "heart healthy" during their physical education classes and were asked to do their part in raising money to donate.
Grades five through eight participated in either raising money online, in person or by participating in the optional "Dodgeball for Heart Tournament" held at their school.
The students raised over $1,800 this year, which is more than double the amount they raised last year! A huge thank you goes out to those who helped and participated in this event.
