RENSSELAER FALLS -- Volunteers from the Indian Creek Nature Center, County Route 14, recently hosted youngsters who played outside on the new snowshoes.
Youth-sized snowshoes were received from the Health Initiative's Creating Healthy Places St. Lawrence County Project, a grant funded by the New York State Department of Health.
To bring a group to the nature center, call Ann Spencer at 379-1383 to arrange a date and time.
The center has snowshoes to lend to children and adults.
Volunteers will be at the center Sunday Feb.15 and Sunday Feb. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. The entrance to the center is on County Route 14 about four miles from the intersection with State Highway 68 between Canton and Ogdensburg.
