NORFOLK -- A Massena woman has launched a kickstarter campaign for Trevor Curtis, a Norfolk man whose furniture repair shop burned on Thursday night.
“He restores furniture and is amazing at what he does, he is an active member of our community. He has a heart of gold,” Kelli L. Colby wrote on a GoFundMe page she started.
Curtis did not have the garage insured.
The page, which can be found here, is seeking to raise $5,000.
Fire investigators said the garage burned as a result of an improperly installed woodstove. No injuries were reported. Click here for more details on the fire.
