Joanne’s Gift of Love is a nonprofit organization supporting local organizations and individuals, with donations staying in the community, for things such as scholarships to NNCS and Potsdam students, and travel bags for patients at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
The foundation was formed after the sudden death of Joanne Bigwarfe of Potsdam, who was principal at Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School at the time of her death following complications from cancer surgery.
