STOCKHOLM -- Detectives with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office have released the identity of a woman found dead in the snow outside her 240 Sullivan Road home.
Debra K. Hade, 61, is believed to have died of exposure, according to Det. Sgt. Brooks Bigwarfe.
“We’re still awaiting an autopsy and toxicology make a definite determination,” Bigwarfe said, adding that foul play is not suspected. “There’s no indication of any of that.”
He said Hade, who lived alone, had been dead for “an extreme amount of time” before being discovered by a passerby around 6 a.m. on Jan. 29.
She was there at least 8 hours, according to Bigwarfe.
