HAMMOND – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating to see if an illegal shotgun seized from an Ogdensburg man Sunday was stolen or has been used in a crime.

Joshua R. Compo, 22, 6123 St. Hwy 37, has been charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a Winchester Model 1300 pump-action shotgun with the serial number cut off of the receiver.
