OGDENSBURG -- Howie’s Tavern’s third annual ice fishing derby is set for Feb. 18.
Howie’s, at 809 New York Ave., is hosting the derby, to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.
The derby is an open water event. It will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry fee is $15 for adults, and $5 for kids 14 and under in the children’s derby. Anglers can register at Howie’s or at Howie’s Shack the morning of the derby.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the biggest northern pike and walleye.
A party at Howie’s will follow with 50/50 prizes, a fish fry and more.
