CANTON -- Two burglaries at the Hot Tamale, 67 Main St., are under investigation by the village police.
The burglaries occurred and were reported a week apart, on Nov. 1 and Nov. 8.
Sgt. Basil Chaney would not comment on details of the investigation other than to confirm that money was taken and they are working with several leads.
The second burglary apparently occurred sometime during the night of Nov. 7 and 8.
