HOPKINTON – The operators of the Hopkinton Food Pantry are asking people to think about families with children who are home from school this summer.
Of particular concern are those kids who benefit from school meal programs for the less-well-off.
“We do our best to help supplement families’ food supplies,” said Georgia Macy and Mary Converse.
People are encouraged to donate to the Hopkinton Food Pantry, with either food or funds.
Monetary contributions can be sent to Georgia Macy, 739 Converse Rd., Ft. Jackson, NY 12965 (phone 328-4168), or Mary Converse, 2893 St. Hwy 11B, Hopkinton, NY 12965 (phone 328-4681).
