POTSDAM — Community members can honor a veteran with a memorial brick for the planned veterans memorial monument at Ives Park, downtown Potsdam. Engraved bricks are being sold for $125 to honor past and present veterans.
The bricks are grey and will be encrypted with black lithochrome lettering.
They are 6” by 9” and include three lines with a limit of 17 characters per line.
Brochures can be picked up at the Potsdam VFW Post, 95 Market St. Proceeds from the brick fundraiser will offset costs for the VFW and DAV in paying for the monument.
