NORFOLK– A Hogansburg teen has been arrested for allegedldy throwing a metal object from a school bus that then shattered the windshield of a flatbed truck traveling in the opposite direction.

State police charged Trevor D. Swamp, 16, with fourth degree criminal mischief-intent to damage property following the incident on NYS Hwy 56.

Police said Swamp threw the metal object from a Massena Central High School bus en route to Massena High School from BOCES at about 11:40 a.m. Friday.

Swamp was processed at state police headquarters in Massena without incident, police said. He is to face the charge in Norfolk Town Court on Oct ,5.
