State troopers say a 53-year-old Hogansburg man is jailed on a drug felony for allegedly possessing more than an ounce of cocaine.
Donald J. Buckshot is charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was collared at a traffic stop and cited for additional counts of failure to signal and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Troopers said Buckshot was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe and was pulled over after failing to signal while turning onto state Route 122 in Westville.
Troopers searched his vehicle and allegedly found the drugs, according to their statement.
The arrest was a result of a join investigation by state police, Department of Homeland Security and the Border Enforcement Security Task Force, troopers said.
Buckshot was arraigned in Bangor Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
He is to appear in Westville Town Court on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
