MADRID -- Madrid-Waddington Elementary School recently hosted Eric Deleel, famous treasure hunter and star of the History Channel’s Legend of Superstition Mountains.
This was a culminating event to their Summer Reading Challenge and treasure hunt.
Deleel visited classrooms and spent time with fourth and fifth-grade students discussing treasure hunting, gold panning, and his YouTube Channel, “Eric Real Deal Deleel.”
Top readers from each grade, including Hailee Blair, Payen Ashley, Hunter Bowman, Mia Hamilton, Gabriel Ashley, and Grant Hayes, joined Deleel for lunch while he was at the school.
