Temperatures will continue to climb today nearly hitting 60 degrees with a 50 percent chance of showers through the day across St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Today will be cloudy with highs near 58 and a 50 percent chance of rain mainly after 10 a.m., the service says. Winds will be southwest at 11 to 14 mph.

Tonight showers are likely between 9 and 11 p.m. with cloudy skies and lows around 42. There is a 60 percent chance of rain with between a tenth and quarter inch possible, NWS says.

Temps will drop on Thursday and Friday going into the 40s for daytime highs and overnight lows of 29 each night.

Widespread rain is likely in the North Country on Thursday with a 70 percent chance, mainly after 1 p.m.

The weekend will be dry with highs on Saturday expected to be around 56 and 49 with partly sunny skies on Sunday.

Overnight lows on the weekend are forecasted to be in the 30s with a chance of rain showers and snow mixed in on Sunday night after midnight, NWS says.
