High winds resulted in about 171 St. Lawrence County National Grid customers losing power.

With some customers restored since the first report, about 83 people remain without electricity near Parishville Center, on the north side of Russell Turnpike Road, according to National Grid.

The company’s outage map says the power was reported out around 9:01 a.m.

It says electricity could be restored by noon.

No crews have been assigned to fix it, the map says.

In the hamlet of Oswegatchie in the Town of Fine, about 66 people were without power just west of state Route 3, but that has been restored National Grid says.

The outage map says electricity ceased there around 6:49 a.m.

It says no crews have been assigned and power could be restored by noon
