Much of St. Lawrence County will see showers and high winds today before a high-pressure front moves into the region bringing dry and unusually warm temperatures through the week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Showers are likely, mainly before noon, with a high near 53. Conditions are expected to be breezy with a southwest wind of 18 to 22 mph and gusts as high as 33 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Tonight there is a 20 percent chance of rain with a low around 42 and winds of 10 to 16 mph, the service says.

The high on Monday is predicted to be 55 with highs through Friday in the 60, NWS says.
