Rain and highs winds will continue in the St. Lawrence Valley today and highs will be unseasonably warm on Wednesday as the National Weather Service (NWS) predicts a high around 53 degrees.
Today there is a 40 percent chance of rain and snow showers before 3 p.m. and then a slight chance of snow showers after 5 p.m., NWS says.
Today will be breezy and cloudy with winds of 13 to 22 mph and gusts up to 36 mph, the services says. The temperature will fall to around 37 throughout the day.
Overnight there is a chance of snow showers before 1 a.m. and then a slight chance of snow showers from 1 to 3 a.m., NWS says.
Winds will be light and variable and total snow accumulation will be less than a half inch, the service says.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies and highs near 34. Rain will likely start overnight around 2 a.m. with an overnight low of 30. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.
Rain will continue through Wednesday morning with highs near 53 and windy. Winds of 11 to 18 mph are expected with gusts of 32 mph possible, the service says.

Rain and snow likely before 2am, then rain, snow, and sleet between 2am and 3am, then rain after 3am. Low around 30. Southeast wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday
Rain before 11am, then a chance of showers between 11am and 2pm. High near 53. Southeast wind 11 to 18 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
