Summer showers are expected to continue today, as "a fairly stagnant weather pattern is expected across the North Country through the next week, with warm temperatures, high humidity, and daily chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms," according to the National Weather Service.
Rainfall is expected to be heavy at times, along with high humidity and temperatures in the 80's and 90's, the service says.
Some relief from the heat may arrive by next weekend, but rain will likely continue, the service says.
