HEUVELTON -- A Heuvelton teen was transported to Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse Thursday after he and his father collided while operating personal watercrafts in the Oswegatchie River.
Bryan Green, 17, and Ronald Green Jr., 42, both of 14 Wilson St., were operating the vessels near the Heuvelton Boat Launch when Bryan apparently turned sharply in front of his father, St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies say.
The move caused Ronald Green to hit Bryan Green's watercraft causing Bryan to be ejected from the vessel.
Bryan received an injury to his lower leg and was airlifted to Syracuse for treatment.
Deputies said the incident is being investigated.
