HEUVELTON – Heuvelton’s Pickens Hall is featured in a music video released by Runaway Home, a Nashville-based band that recently toured the North Country.

Heuvelton Historical Association president David Kingsley said the band drew about 140 people to Pickens Hall, which is currently undergoing renovations.

The band played the hall April 18, and was also featured on North Country Public Radio’s String Fever show, which was broadcast live from Pickens Hall, prior to the performance.

Kingsley said the band stayed at his home while visiting Heuvelton.

He said the musicians enjoyed the show and were interested in returning.

“They had a great time,” Kingsley said.

Band members include songwriters Mark Elliot, Gary Culley, Lisa McCarter and variety of musicians including Ron De La Vega, Chip Chipoletti, Laura McGhee, Lisa Hongren and Aaron Till.

The video can be seen on the band's website or at youtube.com.
