HEUVELTON -- Heuvelton Central School recently donated hand-made placemats to the Office for the Aging. The mats will were to accompany 30 home delivered meals.
Nancy Robert, Director of Office for the Aging visited the students of Tina Mills and Melissa Fennessy on Dec. 16 to explain the importance of the “Meals Program.”
She said that on an average weekday, approximately 350 older adults within St. Lawrence County receive a nutritious noontime meal.
Robert also answered many of the student’s questions related to the Meal Program.
