OSWEGATCHIE – A Heuvelton man was jailed on $10,000 cash bail after allegedly threatening to slit another person’s throat and preventing the victim from call 911, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies say.
Jonathan M. McSorley, 21, of 93 Rensselaer St., was charged with third-degree menacing and criminal mischief-preventing a person from making an emergency call, deputies said.
Deputies say McSorley allegedly threatened to slit a person’s throat and prevented the same victim from making an emergency phone call.
McSorley was arraigned Aug. 30 and sent to St. Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
