MASSENA -- The Heuvelton Leo Club is selling $5 booklets to support its community service efforts. The non-profit 501C3 organization keeps 100 percent of the booklet price and the customer receives up to $500 in special shopping offers at Massena’s St. Lawrence Center Mall.
Booklets can be purchased on our organization’s Facebook page. Community Day’s is a two-day shopping event at BonTon. The company has generously created this event to enable non-profit 501C3 groups and schools to raise money to support their mission.
“Community Days has been an important fundraising event for our organization,” Leo advisor Nancy LaFaver said.“ It’s a win-win for everyone, we raise funds and the purchaser gets great shopping offers at BonTon.”
The Leos are an organization made up of students from Heuvelton Central School in grades 5-10.
They are committed to community service. All funds that they raise go directly back to their local community through service projects.
Some examples of these services are: Pies for the Pantry, Giving Tree, PJs for Christmas, Relay For Life, Juvenile Diabetes, Heuvelton teachers and staff and PTA, Red Ribbon Week and many, many other smaller services for the teachers, staff and students of HCS.
