CANTON -- A Hermon woman faces multiple charges after she allegedly drove car without the owner’s permission and fled the scene of an accident Tuesday.
Danielle L. Holmes, 28, of 4608 County Route 24, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, moving from lane unsafely and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies say Holmes was found walking on Jingleville Road after the 1997 Honda Accord was found in a ditch.
Deputies say Holmes took the vehicle from a relative’s home without permission. Holmes is scheduled to answer the charges in Canton court.
