HERMON – A Hermon man faces child endangerment charges after his 3-year-old child was reportedly found wandering around Church Street in the nude at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies.
Khalil White, 33, 116 Church St., Apt. 3, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Deputies say the child was able to leave their second story apartment without White's knowledge. Employees of Community Bank noticed the child in the roadway and brought him into the bank until deputies arrived.
White was issued an appearance ticket for Hermon Town Court on March 21.
Deputies were assisted on the scene by a local social worker from the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services.
