WADDINGTON -- A Henderson man is facing narcotics charges following a traffic stop on state Highway 37 Friday morning.
Lee. M Alverson, 39, was arrested for third-degree manufacture of methamphetamine and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug with intent to sell.
Massena-based State Police report that Alverson was pulled over on a routine traffic stop Feb. 17 at 7:02 a.m. when Troopers found evidence in Alverson's vehicle which lead to his arrest for the narcotics charges.
He was taken into custody, and remanded to the county jail on no bail.
He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. in town court.
Also arrested during the traffic stop was Amy L. Crosbie, 39, of Henderson.
She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Crosbie was ticketed, released and is scheduled to appear in town court March 1 at 4 p.m.
