HANNAWA FALLS -- Helping Hands has raised over $17,000 for the Christian P. House Furniture barn, building fund.
Dr. Michael Maresca of Hannawa Falls, is challenging residents of St. Lawrence County to donate to this building project. As an incentive, he will match every dollar given, up to to $20,000.
Helping Hands is the only organization in St Lawrence County providing free furniture, appliances, beds, and housewares to all income eligible St. Lawrence County residents.
People escaping domestic violence, fire victims and hard working people making minimal wages are among those served by Helping Hands.
