HANNAWA FALLS -- Helping Hands broke ground on their new furniture barn Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Dr. Mike and Barb Maresca contributed $20,000 to help Helping Hands raise over $35,000 for this much needed storage building, said a press release from the organization.
Helping Hands provides free furniture, appliances and beds to income qualified St Lawrence County residents.
The Helping Hands Board of Directors and staff were on hand for the ground breaking to thank Brian Haggett who, along with his crew, and Bob Weegar donated their time for all of the site work on the project.
