MASSENA -- The Massena Neighborhood Center will benefit from the Helping Hands food basket program.
The packages are $10 and include tomato sauce, oatmeal, cereal, long grain white rice, chicken noodle soup, green beans, elbow macaroni, peanut butter and pasta sauce.
People can buy them at Hannaford’s.
Neighborhood Center officials say they also need cash donations to purchase meat and other perishable items to be distributed with the baskets, as well as gifts for children.
People can give cash or bottle receipts at a kiosk in the store or mail checks to Massena Neighborhood Center, 61 Beach St., Massena, NY 13662.
