Hazardous weather outlook issued for St. Lawrence County, but no significant traffic impact expected

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for St. Lawrence County today, according to the National Weather Service.

No significant travel impacts are expected, but the weather service reports that some slick spots are possible on roadways.

Snow is expected to continue until 1 p.m. with about two inches of snow expected.

Precipitation is expected to turn into a wintry mix this afternoon and into the evening.

Light snow likely, mainly before 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 34. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tonight

A chance of drizzle and snow before 4am, then a slight chance of snow between 4am and 5am, then a slight chance of drizzle after 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 32. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
