A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for St. Lawrence County tonight, with wet snow and rain expected to coat area roads, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are likely to be in the mid-30s, but may dip lower in higher elevations.

The snow will taper off tomorrow as a high pressure system moves into the area, bringing with it above average temperatures, the service says.

Sunny skies are expected throughout the weekend, with showers to return Sunday night, the service predicts. Temperatures may reach as high as the upper 40s Sunday.
