CANTON -- “Hansel and Gretel” has been chosen as the “People’s Gingerbread” choice in the TAUNY 2013 Sugar & Spice gingerbread exhibit contest.
Holiday visitors to The TAUNY Center voted for their favorite theatrical gingerbread creation.
When the ballots were tallied, every entry received at least a few votes this year.
“Hansel & Gretel,” created by Nancy Putney of Waddington, drew the People’ Choice honors.
“Don Quixote;” a group effort by Alie Sarhanis, Benjamin Swimm, Josh Carter, and Louise Gava; came in a close second.
