Recently, Webster provided to the Sno-Skippers Snowmobile Club in Colton a 2017 Bearcat groomer snowmobile and pull-behind groomer to aid in grooming some smaller and tighter snowmobile areas on trails.

“St Lawrence County is where I grew up and cut my teeth in the snowmobile industry,” Webster said “I have snowmobiled all around North America in some of the neatest places there are to ride; but one place is like no other in my heart, and mind, and that is right here in St. Lawrence County throughout the foothills to the Adirondacks.”

The donated groomer will be on display this weekend at Robideau's Mahogany Ridge Bar and Grill for everyone to see. They are located at 3927 State Highway 56.

A vintage sled show is planned for Sunday, Jan. 29 and Webster donated two Arctic Cat jackets which will be raffled off with the proceeds going to local charities.

“Mike Webster has been a very valuable part keeping all our trails groomed,” said Robideau’s Mahogany Ridge Bar and Grill owner Terrie Reed.

“My family and I moved back home in summer of 2016, so my youngest son could graduate from Potsdam High School, and I realized it was important for me to get involved with the local efforts in the trail system,” he said.

Webster, who graduated from Clarkson University, is the director of North American Sales for Arctic Cat Inc., headquartered in Minneapolis MN. He splits his time in Hannawa Falls where he and his family reside, and in Minneapolis.

“I reached-out to one of my friends of past, and one of the most committed people I have ever met relative to his efforts in the St. Lawrence County trail maintenance and development -- Danny Collins,” Webster said. “Those that know Danny, know he is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with he, and others, going forward.”
