HAMMOND -- A Hammond woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a property-damage accident Monday on Lake Street, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Nancy T. Measheaw, 64, was charged with DWI, failure to keep right and failure to reduce speed/special hazard, officers said.
Measheaw was reportedly taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center by Hammond rescue where a blood test was given leading to the DWI charge, deputies said.
She was released on appearance tickets returnable to Hammond court at a later date, officers said.
