ROSSIE – A Hammond woman faces multiple charges after she was allegedly found unconscious from drugs in a roadway with her two toddlers Monday.
St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies charged Emily Livingston, 25, with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal contempt and petit larceny.
A passing motorist found Livingston and the children in the middle of the roadway and reported it to deputies.
Deputies say Livingston allegedly stole several Klonopin pills and ingested them. The medication is believed to have made Livingston lose consciousness in a roadway with her two 18-month-old children.
Deputies said she was arraigned in Rossie and sent to St. Lawrence County Jail on $2,500 cash bail.
